Welcome to Anthemsphere.com. I appreciate you stopping by and checking us out. My goal is to gather the best and most relevant news and information about EA’s upcoming Anthem game and give it to you all in one place.
My name is Justin Gould, aka Skymogul. I’ve been gaming since the coin op era, spending my quarters on Asteroids and Donkey Kong, gaming at home on the Atari 2600, 5200, into the Nintendo platforms, PC gaming as far back as Doom I (with the requisite Voodoo card). I’m a die-hard Xbox gamer, having gamed on that platform since the OG Xbox, then the Xbox 360, Xbox One and Xbox One S. I was one of the very first gamers on Microsoft’s Xbox Live service, having participated early in the beta for that service on the OG Xbox. Playing ReVolt off the Xbox Live demo disc back then, I don’t think any of us could imagine just how huge multiplayer console gaming would become.
Professionally, I’m a software developer. I game for fun, and I’m also a Private Pilot (hence “Skymogul”).
When I watched the Anthem reveal on Mixer (so I could see it live in full 4K HDR), it took my breath away. It also immediately struck me that this was going to be “Nextiny”, the next Destiny. The BioWare Edmonton team is legendary for their work on the original Mass Effect trilogy. I expect that a team with that kind of open world RPG experience will put out a game that will be terrific in every regard, and I’m looking forward to helping build a community around that!
